What a great start to an evening!

I must say, the energy each evening at the finals has been very upbeat and positive! To underscore this point, a typical start to an evening is a small dance party as you can see in this video.. how great is that?!!

Unfortunately for the teams playing tonight, none of them are going onto the finals tomorrow night (April 7, 2012).

Due to a tie, the teams will only be playing three events each (probably to keep the evening from running too long). We'll be watching...

It will be an intense evening for sure... followed by a huge dance party at the University of Ottawa which runs till 1:30am (yikes!)

I expect to see man sleepy faces Sunday morning as most of us have to be at the airport around 6am.

Great things are happening this upcoming Family Day Weekend at the Victoria High School! We are playing host to the 2015 CIG Island Semi-Finals, Junior Cup and Island Finals! Christmas Tree Chipping Fundraiser a success!

We are very excited to have been invited to attend the Berlin Improv Festival in March 2014! This will be the first time ever in the festival’s 13 year history where they have hosted a high school improv group and we’re excited to be part of this unique event! Over their 10 day stay in Berlin, our students will participate in 4 days of workshops from two different instructors (not from the US or Canada) and will perform for a local school audience at the end. They also will be enjoying the festival performances and taking time to visit the historic city of Berlin itself. For a group of 16 students, the total cost is $32,000 CDN which includes their return airfare, ground transportation, accommodations, workshops and access to the festival. Our goal is to raise at least $10,000 to help reduce the per student cost to approximately $1,600.
